If you had asked me this a few years ago, I might have given you a very textbook answer. But the truth is… my relationship with the Akashic Records didn’t begin in a book. It began with a feeling.
As a student of Sanskrit, I came across the word Akasha—and something in me immediately lit up. I knew that akasha refers to ether, the fifth element. Not something you can touch or hold, but something that holds everything. Space. Consciousness. The unseen field in which all things exist.
And I remember thinking… what does that actually mean?
That curiosity stayed with me.
Then, as life tends to do when we are ready, the word “Akashic Records” began appearing everywhere. Conversations. Books. Teachings. It felt like the universe gently nudging me—again and again—until I realised: I’m meant to explore this.
So… what are the Akashic Records?
The Akashic Records are often described as a kind of energetic database or a universal library—a field of information that holds the vibrational imprint of every soul and every experience across time.
But I want to say this clearly: this is not a physical place.
It is a dimension of consciousness.
A living, breathing field of awareness that exists beyond time, beyond space, beyond linear thinking.
Within this field exists the record of:
It is, quite literally, the story of your soul.
In Sanskrit, we might understand these imprints as samskaras—the subtle grooves or patterns left behind by experience. These are the energetic imprints that shape how we think, feel, and behave… often without us even realising it.
Why would we access the Akashic Records?
For me, this is where it became deeply personal.
When I realised that this field held not just information—but insight into the patterns I was living out—something shifted.
Because suddenly, I wasn’t just “this version” of myself navigating life.
I was seeing that:
And more importantly… they could be understood and released.
In the Records, we often discover things like:
These are simply information—waiting to be brought into awareness.
And awareness… is where transformation begins.
Is this a belief system or a religion?
Not at all.
The concept of an energetic record of life exists across many cultures and traditions:
Even in more modern, scientific language, thinkers like Ervin Laszlo have explored the idea of an informational field—a kind of cosmic memory embedded within the fabric of the universe itself.
So whether you approach this spiritually, philosophically, or even scientifically… the idea is the same:
There is a field that remembers.
A different way of understanding yourself
I often say that working in the Akashic Records is less about “finding answers” and more about investigating your soul’s potential.
It’s about becoming curious.
About asking:
And allowing those answers to come from a place beyond the thinking mind.
A place of deeper knowing.
My journey into this work
At first, I was learning purely for myself. To understand. To heal. To make sense of patterns I could feel but not explain.
But it wasn’t until I found the right modality—one that truly resonated with my understanding of Sanskrit, philosophy, and consciousness—that everything clicked.
I realised I could become certified to access this field in a grounded, safe, and meaningful way.
And more than that… I realised I could help others do the same.
This is where my work now lives.
Supporting people to gently uncover their own samskaras. To see the patterns that have been quietly shaping their lives. And to begin releasing what no longer serves them.
Final thoughts
The Akashic Records are not something separate from you.
They are not outside of you.
They are a reflection of your soul’s journey—held within the vast, intelligent field of consciousness that we call akasha.
And when you begin to access that space, even gently… you start to realise:
You are not stuck. You are not limited. You are not defined by your past.
You are simply carrying patterns that are ready to be seen.
And once they are seen… they can begin to shift.
If this speaks to you, trust that. Curiosity is often the first doorway. And sometimes… it’s the universe nudging you, just as it once nudged me.
